Refund and Withdrawal Policy
- For students completing up to and including 10% of the total clock hours, the school shall refund 90% of the total cost of the program.
- For students withdrawing from or discontinuing the program within the first 25% of the program, the tuition charges refunded by the school shall be at least 55% of the total cost of the program.
- Students withdrawing or discontinuing after 25% but within 50% of the program, the tuition charges refunded by the school shall be at least 30% of the total cost of the program.
- For students withdrawing or discontinuing after 50% of the program, the student is entitled to no refund.
Termination date: The termination date for refund computation purposes is the last date of recorded attendance of the resident student or the date the nonresident student requests cancellation.

How Hours Are Calculated
- Hours are moved up to the next hour after 15 minutes into the next hour. (Example 11:15 would be moved to 12 noon and would be counted as the next hour.)
- The last hours of recorded attendance are used for refund computation.
- All refunds are made within 30 calendar days from the student’s withdrawal or cancellation date.
In the event the Institute of Phlebotomy Education Incorporated terminates/cancels an entire class session (120-hour program), students will be entitled to a full refund of all money paid for tuition.

Period of Refund
Refunds shall be made within 30 calendar days from the date the student withdraws, cancellation date, fails to enter, leaves the program, or fails to return from a leave of absence.
